Punta Verde Eco-tour: Baratubut Falls

Punta Verde beach
Punta Verde is a small fishing village in Palaui Island, Sta. Ana, Cagayan. This is the only place where tourists are allowed to camp if they wish to stay overnight in Palaui Island.
In Punta Verde, there's a trail going to Cape Engaño lighthouse if you want to visit it by trekking that usually takes 3-4 hours or depending on your pace. Our boatmen told us that we will take different route from Anguib beach route so we decided to go there by boat instead of trekking and we just availed the tour to Baratubut falls.

Going to Baratubut falls will take 20 - 30 minutes trek. We didn't mind at all even the trail was a little slippery and muddy due to several scenic views that we saw along the trail.

And at last...
Baratubut Falls
The water is so refreshing that it takes away my fear from the big waves while we were on the way to Anguib beach before heading to Punta Verde.

The waterfalls has no catch basin where you can swim but still it's incredibly stunning.

We spent at least 30 minutes or more here taking pictures and having a natural water massage before we went back in Punta Verde community.
